There's plenty of scope for improvement with this one.
Fun as it is to joust with shotguns and automatic weapons, you can't beat a sniper rifle for lingering satisfaction. There's something deeply more-ish about standing at one side of a huge battlefield and putting a bullet right between the eyes of some lowlife standing at the other side, blissfully unaware of his impending snuffing. It's no less enjoyable in Sniper 2 either - it's just the other stuff surrounding it that disappoints.

Sniper. A word used by many, especially gamers, but most people dont really know how it is to be in real life they think its all about quick scoping and jumping around doing no scopes like many other games but Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is not that game by far. Although the game really brings back memories about Call of Duty 4 both in the loading menus which are mission briefings before the missions (which is exactly like Call of Duty 4) and in the movement and combat (although with some sniping mechanics attached to it) the game is HEAVYLY influenced by Call of Duty even in the bad things.

| News: UK Video Game Chart: Tomb Raider holds on to beat God of War

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm new at No.3.
Lara's reboot dropped 72 per cent over its blockbuter first week, but sales remained strong enough to prevent God of War: Ascension from taking the top spot. The action prequel recorded the second biggest opening of all five God of War titles, but sold under half the first week total of God of War 3 three years ago.
Activision Blizzard's StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm claims third place, but is likely to have seen its retail sales hampered by the popularity of buying digitally.
Next up is City Interactive's Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 at No.4, bettering the chart...
